At Freedom Home Care, we want to provide each client with a personalized care experience. Every person’s needs are different ranging from a minimum number of hours a week of companion care to a more comprehensive plan including 24-hour, live-in care.
Part of the personalized experience is matching clients with our case managers and caregivers. To ensure we best meet the expectations and desires of our clients, we match the skills of our caregivers to the specific needs of our clients using a three-tier care system. We also take into consideration personalities to ensure the development of solid relationships and trust.
We carefully select only the most qualified caregivers using a multi-step hiring process that includes state specific and national criminal background checks, employment history checks, license verification’s, personal reference checks and skills assessments. From there, each of our caregiver applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement, pass a competency exam, complete orientation and caregiver training and pass several on-line training modules.
In addition to regular visits from nursing supervisors and case managers, Freedom Home Care is able to monitor the accuracy and timeliness of care provided through state-of-the-art scheduling software. This software automatically alerts our staff upon the arrival and departure of each caregiver. If a caregiver fails to arrive on time, an alert is immediately sent to the on-call staff.
