Christine has been a part of the Mankato community for 19 years since moving to Mankato from Iowa to attend Minnesota State University, Mankato She graduated with a degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations Her career path in Mankato has provided Public Relations and Marketing experience in government, for-profit and non-profit arenas. As a long-time member of the community, Christine takes pride in providing non-medical home care and case management services to friends, family and neighbors in southern Minnesota as the co-owner of Freedom Home Care, a business started in 2014. Christine sees home care and case management as ways to help people in the community by allowing them to live independently in a comfortable environment for as long as possible. Christine loves to be active and enjoys yoga, running, cycling and spending as much time with friends and family as possible. Christine volunteers with Christ the King Church, Salvation Army, Hoover PTA, Minnesota Area Agency on Aging, South Central College Nursing Advisory Board, Mental Well-Being and Resilience Learning Community, Mayo Clinic Health System – Mankato Community Health Engagement Committee, Project 4 Teens, Alzheimer’s Association and VINE Faith in Action. With her husband Andy, Christine is raising three children in Mankato.
